How do I know an item is real?
Every item listed on ConsignMint goes through authentication before it is posted for bidding, and vendors are reviewed before they can sell. See our Authentication page for how the process works.
How does bidding work?
Each auction has a start time, an end time, and a current highest bid. Place a bid above the current amount, and if you are outbid, you will be notified so you can decide whether to bid again.
Do I need an account to bid?
Yes. Create a free account to place bids, track auctions you are watching, and manage your purchases from your dashboard.
What happens after I win an auction?

Are reserve prices shown?
No. Reserves stay hidden. If bidding meets the reserve, the auction can close in a sale; if it does not, the item does not sell below the seller’s number.
Can I sell an item here?
Yes. Visit Sell With Us to submit your item for review — a few photos and a short description is all it takes to start.
What's the difference between the public marketplace and the vendor marketplace?
The public marketplace is open to everyone. The Verified Vendor Marketplace is a separate, private space for verified dealers and businesses buying or selling in volume, with anonymous bidding and wholesale pricing.
How do I become a verified vendor?
Apply through the Vendor Marketplace page. Our team reviews every application before granting access.
